In Loving Memory

Born on 7th August 1985 in Libya and raised in Tamale, Samira Nayina—affectionately known as Samie—was a gifted scholar and athlete. After achieving ten Ones in the BECE, she distinguished herself at Wesley Girls’ High School as Sports Prefect and recipient of the Chinery-Hesse Award. She later earned a Civil Engineering degree from KNUST and an MBA in Oil and Gas Management from the University of Dundee.

Her career spanned HM Revenue and Customs in the United Kingdom, Osam Energy, BOST and Ghana National Gas Limited Company, where she was respected for her competence, integrity and generous mentorship. Beyond her accomplishments, Samira was a devoted daughter, protective elder sister, trusted friend and dependable source of strength. Her legacy is one of faith, humility, service and unconditional love—expressed through the many lives she encouraged and uplifted.
